all that you touch, you change
This installation reconstructs that loss in two forms. Wooden fragments, rebuilt from partial memory, were pressed into fabric, leaving behind impressions of objects that no longer exist. Cast in cloth that holds their weight and surface like a held breath, these textile sculptures do not restore what was lost. They carry only its outline.
The wooden fragments themselves sit in the corner of the space—quiet, unresolved, refusing to become whole again.
At intervals, sound from old VHS recordings fills the room: voices, birthdays, gatherings that once took place around this furniture, now returning only as degraded echoes.
Together, these elements do not reconstruct the past. They hold what remains of it: the impression, the fragment, the trace of a life that was once fully here.
